Queen’s Domain has nine documented negative status effects. Sticky blocks throwing weapons, Binding blocks magic and Paralysis prevents movement and attacks. If an action suddenly stops working, check the active status and its visual indicator before assuming your equipment or controls are broken.

The names and effects are the useful part of this table. It does not invent a duration, damage tick or resistance percentage where the reviewed sources do not establish one. Use the in-game Guide’s Status Effects section to compare the wording for your current build.

Throwing weapons do not work

First check whether you have a recovered charge. If the charge is available but the view is covered by a web, Sticky is the more likely explanation. Repeatedly pressing the throwing input does not resolve an effect that disables the action.

Create space and use an available alternative while you address the condition. The distinction matters during the Necronomicon fight, where relying on ranged attacks without noticing an active effect can leave you standing still under pressure.

Magic does not work

Binding blocks magic, including magical weapon abilities such as the Azure Torch’s fire action. The green-chain indicator helps distinguish it from an empty weapon resource. Do not assume a beacon is broken if you are currently unable to cast.

Check the resource meter as well. A status effect and an empty meter are different problems and can require different responses. Read the Azure Torch guide for the beacon sequence once the ability is available again.

Recovery and prevention

Many negative effects wear off with time, while appropriate cure items can resolve particular conditions sooner. Resting at a Crystal Monument restores health and removes negative status effects, but also brings regular enemies back. Use Save and Rest as separate decisions.

This guide does not promise that waiting safely is possible in every encounter or that one consumable cures all nine effects. Read a cure’s description before using it. If health is already draining, leave the damaging area rather than assuming a cure will protect you while you remain inside the source.

Weak damage is not always a bad weapon

Disease reduces outgoing damage, while a depleted Power Meter and an enemy’s resistance can also make attacks feel weak. Compare all three before replacing your loadout. Heavy can make recovery feel slower even when you are using the same attack rhythm.

Use a recovered meter and a known target to judge a weapon after the effect ends. The weapon guide explains why type and special utility matter alongside the item’s Power rating.
