Queen's Domain Grimoire: Location, Codes and Ink

The Witch’s Grimoire is hidden behind the large tree on the starting beach. Inspect the hollow where the rear of the trunk meets the wall, collect the book and use it from your consumables inventory to inscribe a password. The documented starting allowance is three Ink Charges.

Find and use the beach-tree book

Return to the beach where the game begins and walk around the large tree rather than searching only its exposed face. Aim at the concealed hollow and use your interact action. Games.gg describes the default PC interaction as E and the inventory use action as F; follow your own bindings if you changed them.

The book is an inventory item, so collecting it and inscribing a password are separate steps. Check that an Ink Charge is available, select the Grimoire and enter the spelling carefully. B0BARLEY contains the digit zero, a distinction the Steam guide’s author clarified after players tried the letter O.

Save before trying a reward you have not used. That is particularly useful for challenge equipment that changes experience, weapon growth or food behavior.

Documented passwords and rewards

These 33 code/reward pairs appear in both the Steam community guide and Games.gg’s November 4 list. They are documented passwords, not independently tested redemptions on this site. The list does not promise that no additional password exists.

Choose effects that fit your goal

DUNGEONCHILL supplies the Chill Amulet, with bonuses across several stats. VERHO supplies the Thief’s Mask for Luck and returning throwing weapons. BLINGE supplies a throwing-slot fire spell. These serve different equipment roles, so check the item description and available slots before replacing your current loadout.

Two passwords deserve extra attention. SHIBARI grants three challenge accessories: Preservation Asanawa stops weapon bond growth, Stagnation Asanawa stops experience gain and Starvation Asanawa disables food effects. JAYPHOTIC grants How to Tolerate Jank, which increases incoming damage as well as healing. If your progression seems to stop after equipping a reward, inspect those descriptions before looking for a broken weapon evolution or leveling system.

The THEB33WITHKNEES bundle includes Ratpod. The community guide reports an Easter egg scene after consuming it; save first if you want to try that interaction. Keep this separate from a claim that a password completes a collectible achievement.

Getting more ink

The player guide and Games.gg describe an ink-related pickup behind a hidden wall near the top of Record of Sin, in the room with the Grimoire hint. The guide author places it on a table to the right and clarifies that it enables gradual replenishment rather than instantly filling the book.

Players also report gaining a charge after major bosses, while comments describe charges appearing during other progression or grinding. Those reports do not establish a fixed timer, kill count or exclusive boss-only rule. Check the charge display after progressing; do not assume every miniature encounter guarantees another use.
